Most things you buy in life are considered a liability
because they depreciate over time until they are worthless.
A piano, on the other hand will keep up with inflation and over time
can actually be worth more than you paid for it.
It is truly an investment. There are many factors that come into play though,
for a piano to maintain its value over time.
(1) ... It must be tuned regularly by a qualified piano tuner.
(2) ... It must be a good quality instrument to begin with.
If you are looking at Used Pianos
, make sure they come with a service record
signed by the piano tuner who has maintained the instrument over the years.
This is the only way you can be assured of the condition of the piano.
There are many Pianos for Sale
everywhere, and most of them have been neglected to
the point where it will take a lot of expensive work to put them back into playable condition.
When you buy one of the pianos on this site, you are buying directly from the owner, not me.
I am a piano tuner, not a salesman, and most of the pianos on this site have been tuned regularly
and come with a complete service record. If the piano does not belong to one of my clients, I will
tell you so you can be aware that it may not measure up to my standards.
Feel free to look through the photo album of the quality pianos that I have displayed here.
